Attellans Farces

We can define atellans farces as a form of theater born in Atela, a city of the Italian Campania, which initially emerged as a popular form of theater satirical and grotesque nature: Originally it was people from the street, with some desire to clutter and debauchery, which through small improvisations put on stage fashion themes, social and political gossip and stories of spicy character. A divertimento precursor of the Commedia dell'Arte.

Essential to laugh and think about comedy as a genre and as construction of characters that bring us to gag and pantomime theater genres. Stories linked with a hilarious madness in the service of intelligent and passionate laughter. Humor as an antidote to life
